01 Warranty support

Your 12-month warranty

Our USB rechargeable AA and AAA batteries and the supplied charging cable are covered for qualifying manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of purchase, under normal intended use.

Submit a warranty claim

What’s covered

  • Qualifying defects in materials or workmanship.
  • A battery that will not charge because of a product defect.
  • A built-in USB Type-C charging port that fails because of a manufacturing defect.
  • A qualifying manufacturing defect in the charging cable supplied with the pack.

What’s not covered

  • Normal wear or gradual capacity reduction through use and ageing.
  • Accidental or physical damage, misuse or modification.
  • Liquid, fire or excessive heat damage, inappropriate charging equipment, or use outside product instructions.
  • Cable damage from pulling, crushing, excessive bending, damaged connectors or physical wear.

Purchase & product details

Tell us whether your pack is AA or AAA, which batteries or cable are affected and what went wrong. Include the purchase date, seller and order or receipt reference if known. We may request a receipt, invoice, order confirmation or other reliable evidence linking the product to the purchase being claimed. You can contact us before gathering all the details.

Assessment before a decision

Submitting a request begins an assessment. We may ask for photos, available product markings or the affected product for reasonable inspection or testing to establish the cause of the fault. Damage and wear are assessed in relation to the reported problem. We explain the outcome and next steps; qualifying claims may include replacement or refund under the warranty and applicable law.

DIVERTISY covers reasonable return or collection costs for qualifying faulty-product returns we handle.

Claim verification

We may ask you to clarify inconsistent purchase or product details. Falsified purchase evidence and unrelated substituted products are not accepted as proof of eligibility for the purchase claimed. Decisions are based on the available evidence, with your statutory rights preserved.

This warranty is an additional benefit. It does not replace the CPA’s six-month implied warranty or reduce any statutory rights. Warranty exclusions do not remove remedies required by law.

02 Returns & refunds

Need to return a product?

The options below apply to purchases made directly from DIVERTISY. For a purchase refund from another seller, contact that seller. You can still claim directly from DIVERTISY under our warranty.

Return options for direct DIVERTISY purchases and who pays the return cost
Your situationWhat appliesReturn courier cost
Faulty or unsafe product Where the CPA applies, goods that fail its quality standards may be returned within six months after delivery, at the supplier’s risk and expense, for repair, replacement or refund at your direction. Our additional 12-month warranty also covers qualifying manufacturing defects. DIVERTISY paysReasonable return or collection costs for qualifying faulty-product returns we handle.
Wrong, incomplete or delivery-damaged order Contact us promptly with your order reference, a description and photos if safe to take. We will investigate and arrange the appropriate correction, replacement, return or refund. Keep the goods and packaging unless unsafe. DIVERTISY paysReasonable return or collection costs for qualifying orders we supplied.
Qualifying seven-day cooling-off return Where ECTA section 44 applies, you can cancel a qualifying electronic purchase within seven days after receiving the goods, without a reason or penalty. Statutory exclusions apply. Tell us within that period; opening packaging to reasonably inspect the product does not by itself remove this right. You payOnly the direct cost of returning the goods.
Other change-of-mind request Outside statutory rights, a voluntary return needs our written approval. Products must be unused, unopened and complete, in their original undamaged packaging and suitable for resale as new. Returned contents and condition are checked against the approval. We may decline requests that do not qualify. You payThe return courier fee for an approved voluntary return.

Before you send anything back

Contact us for appropriate return instructions, packaging guidance and courier arrangements for lithium-ion batteries. Keep the product and supplied accessories available. Missing original packaging alone does not remove a return right granted by law.

Contacting us first helps arrange safe shipping; it does not remove or delay a statutory cancellation or return right.

How and when refunds are paid

Refunds for direct purchases normally use the original payment method, where possible. Qualifying ECTA section 44 refunds are made within 30 days of cancellation. Other refunds are made as soon as reasonably practicable and within applicable legal deadlines; your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the payment.

No administration, processing or restocking fees are deducted where a full refund is required by law. Any lawful costs for a separately agreed voluntary return are explained in advance.

03 Order cancellations

Need to cancel an order?

For an order placed directly with DIVERTISY, send your order or quotation reference as soon as possible. If it has not been dispatched, we will cancel it and refund any payment for that order in full. If it has already been dispatched, the applicable return rights above apply.

For orders placed with another seller, request cancellation from that seller. Sending an enquiry through this website does not place an order.

04 Common questions

A little more help

Charging, compatibility and purchase details. Open the question that applies to you.

What does the charging indicator mean?

The indicator blinks while the battery is charging and stays steadily lit when fully charged. Charging takes approximately 2 hours. Disconnect the batteries once fully charged.

My battery will not charge. What should I check?

If the battery is swollen, leaking, unusually hot, physically damaged or otherwise appears unsafe, stop using and charging it and follow the battery safety guidance.

For a battery that appears safe, check that the supplied USB Type-C cable is connected to the battery and a compatible 5V USB power source. Review the charging instructions on the AA product page or AAA product page. If the problem continues, note what the indicator does and whether one or several batteries are affected for your enquiry.

My device does not work with the batteries. Are they compatible?

Check that your device requires the correct AA or AAA size and supports 1.5V batteries. Follow the device manufacturer’s instructions where compatibility is uncertain. If you still need help, include the device make and model in your enquiry.

Is the charging cable covered?

Yes. The charging cable supplied with the retail pack is covered for 12 months against qualifying manufacturing defects under normal intended use. Physical damage, normal wear or misuse is not covered.

Do I need proof of purchase?

We may request a receipt, invoice, order confirmation or other reliable evidence to confirm the purchase and warranty period. You can contact us before gathering all the details; eligibility is assessed using the available evidence.

Is normal capacity reduction covered?

No. Gradual capacity reduction through normal use and ageing is not by itself considered a manufacturing defect.
